Role Snapshot
Programmer Analyst I and II positions maintain and develop enterprise business applications, particularly the Ellucian Banner ERP system, requiring strong technical expertise and relevant certifications. These roles provide critical support and strategic technical leadership to ensure system reliability and performance across administrative and academic operations.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements, develop and maintain applications, conduct business process reviews, debug systems, and provide Tier III support. Programmer Analyst II additionally serves as a senior technical expert providing strategic leadership in planning and execution of enterprise application initiatives.
Skills & Tools: Required expertise in Java, JavaScript, Linux Shell Scripting, TSQL, and PL/SQL with strong experience in enterprise administrative applications and project management. Programmer Analyst II requires advanced technical leadership and autonomous problem-solving capabilities in enterprise environments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology required; Programmer Analyst I requires 8 years of IT experience and 2+ technical certifications, while Programmer Analyst II requires 12 years of experience and 3+ technical certifications. Passing score on programming assessment for job-specific languages and mandatory Banner ERP training for all new hires.
