Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of professional software development experience. Deep understanding of software development principles, best practices, and architectural patterns required.

The Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Software Engineer (Guardian Browser) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As the Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to innovative technology solutions.

The Responsibilities:

  • Experienced developer with a deep understanding of software development principles, best practices, and architectural patterns.
  • Leads the design and implementation of complex features or small-scale projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Mentors and guides junior and mid-level engineers, conducts technical reviews, and advocates for best practices.
  • May start contributing to architectural decisions and system design discussions.
  • Demonstrates strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the team and across cross-functional teams.
  • Stays up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and their potential impact on the team’s domain.
  • Guides the technical strategy for large-scale initiatives or entire product lines.

The Desired Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 5+ years of professional software development disciplines and deep technical skills
  • Strong expertise in Electron Development with React
  • Strong expertise using Ruby on Rails preferred
  • Strong expertise in developing cloud infrastructure applications
  • Experience with NATS.IO, Jetstream, or Kafka preferred
  • Experience with GOlang preferred
