Role Snapshot

Temporary IT Administrator role at Envision Education supporting educational equity by managing technology infrastructure and providing technical support across Oakland and San Francisco school sites. The position reports to the Associate Director of Technology and ensures reliable systems that empower staff and students.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily IT operations including computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure; manage network security, firewalls, and wireless connectivity; administer user accounts and permissions; provide technical troubleshooting and support to staff and students; handle device management and installation across multiple platforms.
Skills & Tools: Strong technical troubleshooting abilities, proficiency with Meraki management, Google Apps, and Adobe Creative Suite. Expertise in Apple and Google hardware, networking principles, and cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications: Commitment to educational equity and anti-racist frameworks; expertise in Apple and Google hardware with knowledge of networking principles. Ideally holds a degree in IT or related field, with demonstrated experience in system administration and network management.
Location: Oakland and San Francisco, California
Compensation: $66K–$76K/yr
