Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day responsibilities include managing society contracts, responding to editor and society inquiries, building relationships with key contacts, conducting data analysis for strategic decisions, monitoring contractual adherence, and collaborating with production, marketing, and digital teams to deliver excellent service.
Skills & Tools: Required skills include excellent communication and organizational abilities, stakeholder management experience, strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, and proficiency with academic publishing systems and technology. Candidates should be able to work independently and understand editorial, production, and marketing processes.
Qualifications: Candidates must have 1+ years of publishing or transferable professional experience and a solid understanding of academic publishing processes, industry trends, competitors, and technology. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with bibliometric analysis and experience with journal management systems.
Location: Cary, North Carolina
Compensation: $59K–$70K/yr
