The Academic Coach serves as the primary support system for learners throughout their educational journey, providing personalized coaching, mentorship, and guidance to foster academic success and program completion. This role directly impacts learner persistence and achievement by removing barriers and facilitating long-term success.
Skills & Tools: Essential skills include strong relationship-building, influencing, critical thinking, coaching, problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities. Proficiency with technology tools, systems, and software applications for advising and learner engagement is also required.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's or Doctoral degree preferred. Experience working with adult learners and advanced coaching skills are essential qualifications.
Location: Remote - United States
