Role Snapshot
The AV Project Engineer manages audio-visual projects from sales engagement through completion, ensuring client satisfaction through effective system design and project oversight. This role bridges technical expertise with client management across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct client needs analyses, design and specify AV systems, perform site surveys, and prepare detailed project documentation including BOMs and proposals. Manage project timelines, budgets, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in AV system design and integration with expertise in AutoCAD, D-tools, and control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp) is required. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
Qualifications: Secondary diploma required with Bachelor's degree preferred; 3-5 years of direct AV project management experience required. PMP certification expected to pursue as a condition of employment; CTS certification preferred with commitment to obtain within 6 months.

Compensation: $90Kβ$110K/yr
