Summary
The Vice President of Programs leads national program strategy execution across 230+ Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies, ensuring consistent high-quality implementation and measurable impact for youth. This strategic leader translates organizational vision into integrated plans while overseeing grant implementation and program development.
Key Responsibilities: Translate program strategy into executable plans, establish consistent processes and decision-making structures, oversee grant-funded work delivery, monitor implementation quality, and synthesize learning for continuous improvement. Lead a team of directors and managers across Grant Implementation and Program Development & Partnerships functions.
Skills & Tools: Exceptional operational leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Proven track record managing complex programs, leading high-performing teams, and driving execution at scale.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a relevant field required. 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in program management or youth development preferred, with experience in national federations as a plus.
Location: United States
Compensation: $130K–$190K/yr
