Collections Specialist role at Lumion supporting servicing operations by managing delinquent consumer loan accounts and minimizing losses through effective, compliant collection strategies. The position involves direct borrower engagement to resolve accounts while maintaining empathy and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Manage delinquent accounts through professional outreach via phone, email, and written communication; assess borrower financial situations and establish repayment arrangements; conduct skip tracing; and accurately document all collection activities in company systems while ensuring FDCPA compliance.
Skills & Tools: Strong verbal and written communication with negotiation abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; detail-oriented organizational and documentation skills; ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally; comfortable managing inbound and outbound calls.
Qualifications: Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and dependability with consistent work ethic; ability to work effectively in team-based environments. Prior experience in collections, loan servicing, or financial services and Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.
Location: South Jordan, Utah
Compensation: $40K–$55K/yr
