JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Student Data, the Student Data Quality and Compliance Specialist I is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student data through regular attendance audits to monitor the set-up and usage of the Student Information System (SIS) in Salesforce (Think360). This role is critical in identifying and communicating data discrepancies to Think Together staff and leaders to support swift corrections. Key data quality insights will be synthesized to inform ongoing improvement efforts of the SIS, along with other data quality initiatives. The Specialist I will work closely with Student Data Team to maintain high data standards and assist in implementing best practices for data management. This position also plays a central role in extracting, cleaning, and preparing data for internal, district partner, and state/federal compliance reports. This role collaborates and partners with the regional operations team to ensure efficiency and accuracy of student data. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Accuracy and Integrity • Partners closely with the Program Quality and Compliance Specialist to perform thorough audits of student data to ensure the data is compliant, complete, and accurate. • Quickly identify data discrepancies and communicate findings to the regional operations and student data team. • Monitor the site set-up of the Think360 Salesforce environment to ensure data is captured appropriately. Communicate necessary corrections when relevant. • Analyze audit findings to share key insights to provide actionable recommendations for staff and supervisors. • Synthesize audit findings and communicate them effectively to staff, tailoring the information to drive significant improvements in data management processes. • Support improvement efforts related to the Student Information System (SIS) and overall data quality management. • Serve as a subject matter expert in the standards for the set-up and entry of student data in the Think360 Salesforce environment. Compliance, District, and Internal Report Support • Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards. • Collaborate with the Student Data Operations and Reporting Specialist to produce timely and precise reports that meet all regulatory standards, grant reporting deadlines, and other reporting needs. • Communicate clearly and with detail the data being extracted from Think360 for all users to ensure appropriate use of data. • Ensure that all compliance reports are submitted accurately and on or before deadlines, tracking submission percentages. Data Quality Performance Metrics • Support the identification of key metrics and performance indicators to be included in student data audit dashboards (e.g., complete attendance data), ensuring they effectively reflect audit performance. • Regularly update and maintain dashboards and related trackers to demonstrate attendance audit performance, providing clear, actionable insights Collaboration and Engagement • Identify and engage with necessary staff members to address data discrepancies and improve data management processes. • Collaborate with members of the Student Data team in pursuit of quality and compliant student data. • Meet weekly with regional operations team members to ensure proper and accurate student data integrity and data insights. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent experience. • 2-3 years of knowledge and experience with data management systems, reporting, and analytical tools preferred. • Proficiency in using Excel, Salesforce, and other data management software. • High level of accuracy and precision in auditing attendance data. • Ability to identify discrepancies and synthesize data to draw meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. • Strong focus on maintaining data integrity and quality. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data. COMPENSATION:

  • Salary $68,700.00

 This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
