Role Snapshot

Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in school-based settings while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. This role is ideal for experienced SLPs seeking leadership and mentorship opportunities to make a direct impact on children's speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise SLPA candidates and evaluate their therapy services, develop IEP goals, attend IEP meetings, and review student records. Guide assistants in treatment planning, monitor progress through data collection and direct observations, and ensure completion of required continuing professional development.
Skills & Tools: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with strong clinical expertise; excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills required for supervising and mentoring SLPA staff.
Qualifications: Current California SLP license with 5+ years post-CF experience; ASHA certificate of competence recommended. Completion of 6-hour supervision professional development training, fingerprint background clearance, and TB clearance required.
Location: Helendale, California
Compensation: From $100K/yr
