The purpose of this class is to provide technical and administrative support of hardware and software assets, from planning and procurement to end of life, across the college.

High School diploma/GED, candidates currently enrolled in college studying Information Technology or Associate's Degree in Information Technology preferred. Experience supporting technology, tracking assets, and generating reports preferred. 

  1. Initiate, design and develop asset reports to meet specific needs of groups and individuals.
  2. Collaborate with all areas of IT to maintain and expand a database of asset information.
  3. Perform inventory checks and reconcile newly received IT assets against purchase orders.
  4. Record inventory information supporting the full lifecycle of assets.
  5. Work with other members of IT to process and document the disposal of assets that reached end-of-life.
  6. Participate in special projects related to hardware and software asset management.
