Role Snapshot
The Director of Advancement Services leads data management and technology strategy for the Exploratorium's Institutional Advancement department, overseeing Salesforce CRM optimization, gift processing, and donor engagement to support fundraising goals.
Key Responsibilities: Manage donor and gift data tracking, maintain and optimize the Salesforce CRM platform, oversee the Development Services team, establish data entry policies, and design reports to guide fundraising strategy and revenue projections across all IA initiatives.
Skills & Tools: Expert knowledge of Salesforce CRM, advanced data management capabilities, strong organizational and project management skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required with 8-10 years of experience in development activities and demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams.
Location: San Francisco, California
Compensation: $115K–$125K/yr
