Fordham University seeks an Executive Director of Data Governance and Strategy to lead the development and implementation of a university-wide data strategy that enhances institutional excellence across academic and administrative domains. This pivotal role shapes a modern, intelligent data environment that empowers discovery, learning, and transformation.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive university-wide data strategy, collaborate with senior leadership across colleges and departments, establish cloud-first/hybrid data platforms, and oversee data governance frameworks while fostering a data-driven culture.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in data governance, cloud-native platforms, data architecture, and analytics integration with exceptional communication and leadership abilities to drive organizational change and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in data science or related field with minimum 10 years of experience in data governance and strategy; Master's degree is preferred.
Location: New York, New York
Compensation: $160K–$210K/yr
