Role Snapshot
Content Manager for original custom courseware at Macmillan Learning who oversees the delivery of digital educational materials and manages projects independently. The role ensures high-quality content creation for diverse learning environments that support effective teaching and student learning.
Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end delivery of media components (assessments, eBooks, videos, etc.) for custom courses while collaborating with instructors, editors, and stakeholders to meet quality and accessibility standards. Oversee quality assurance, hire and onboard contractors, maintain Jira workflows, anticipate project risks, and identify solutions to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational and project management abilities with excellent communication skills; proficiency in digital learning environments, editorial processes, and workflow management; sound judgment and proactive problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years of experience in educational publishing; experience with digital learning products preferred.
Location: United States
Compensation: $55K–$60K/yr
