The Associate Vice President of Advancement Operations at Fordham University will lead a newly created position to design and implement strategic operational functions that support the university's fundraising program. This role offers a visionary leader the opportunity to oversee advancement operations, including gifts processing, data analytics, prospect management, and strategic policy development.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the Advancement Operations team managing gift processing, data analytics, prospect research, and prospect management while developing strategic policies to enhance fundraising efficacy. Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, ensuring alignment of operations with campaign and fundraising objectives, and mentor a cohesive team that underpins the university's fundraising success.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and leadership abilities with proficiency in fundraising CRM systems, data analytics, and project management. Strategic thinking and ability to design foundational operational systems and policies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of ten years of experience in advancement operations. Master's degree and experience in higher education advancement are preferred.
Location: New York, New York
Compensation: $230K–$250K/yr
