What you’ll do
Working in Finance – Revenue Operations, the Sr Business Solution Manager will play a critical role supporting internal teams by building and maintaining robust ETL production reporting pipelines and dashboards.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Data Development, Reporting, Quality & Governance
- Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL pipelines. Integrate data from various sources including, but not limited to, Salesforce, Oracle, MS SQL Server, AWS Redshift/Athena/S3, and Snowflake. Willingness to remain aligned to enterprise data strategy best practices in a fast-paced environment.
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity. Adheres to development best practices as outlined by Enterprise Data Governance & Quality, IT.
- Create / Update / Maintain documentation for data processes and workflows in partnership with Enterprise Data teams, ensuring all work is documented and catalogued for enterprise use.
- Collaboration and Project Management
- Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and convert abstract ‘wish list’ items into time boxed tasks and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Must be able to effectively collaborate with subject matter experts, and cross-functional project leaders & teams. Experience writing service level agreements (SLAs) preferred but not required. Partner with IT to maintain existing SLAs updated.
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment, and effectively prioritizes deliverables for projects with overlapping timelines in accordance with CI/CD, using the Minimum Value Proposition (MVP) approach. Willingness to lead and provide enablement to junior resources to increase overall team effectiveness.
- The ideal candidate is comfortable using a combination of waterfall and agile Project Management to ensure timely delivery of fiscal year goals.
What you’ll need
- Passion for improving student achievement and supporting educators using data-driven methodologies.
- The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience in math modeling, data/analytics engineering, or finance analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics or related field (preferred but not required). Work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Technical: AWS S3, AWS-CLI, Informatica (CDI), GHE, VS Code, Containerization, dbt, SQL, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, MS Office Suite.
- Experience in: Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering preferred.
- Understanding of: ETL vs ELT, analytics engineering best practices, optimizing models for visualization tools, project management.
- Proven Expertise in Project and Team Management.
- Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Capable of swiftly shifting between various priorities and projects to ensure the team’s overall success.
- Equally values and celebrates team achievements and personal accomplishments.
- Skilled in navigating both legacy systems and modern enterprise-supported technologies with minimal supervision.
- Knows when to delegate tasks and seek assistance when necessary.
- Exhibits a strong passion for teamwork and effective collaboration.
Preferred but not necessary
- Working knowledge of modernizing legacy systems and master data management (MDM).
- Graduate Degree in computer science, mathematics, information technology or related field.
- Experience migrating from legacy on-prem systems to enterprise cloud hosting strongly preferred.
- Experience working in the K-12 education space preferred.
Salary range: $90k - $110k annually.
