Role Snapshot
Lead the development of innovative K-12 literacy education products powered by AI technology as a Senior Product Owner, guiding 1-2 products and leading scrum teams in a startup-paced environment. Act as the voice of the product while ensuring quality delivery, cross-functional alignment, and successful team coordination without direct reports.
Key Responsibilities: Guide product success by leading scrum teams, implementing Agile processes, and ensuring quality delivery while managing cross-team alignment and priorities. Lead by influence, coordinating engineers, QA, and design teams while maintaining deep product knowledge and demonstrating relentless accountability for delivery.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency with Agile methodologies, backlog management tools (Jira and Confluence), and demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority. Strong technical communication, documentation skills, and collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in SaaS or EdTech, ideally in a startup environment, with proven success leading scrum teams. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Education, or equivalent professional experience; preferred experience collaborating with external stakeholders.

Compensation: $125K–$150K/yr
