Role Snapshot

The Risk Assessor provides consultative services to Navigate360 customers, delivering comprehensive physical and technological threat and vulnerability assessments across sectors including law enforcement, education, healthcare, and businesses.

Key Responsibilities: Perform customer needs analysis, develop risk assessment reports, evaluate security programs and strategies, research and implement security technologies, and deliver ALICE Training classroom instruction. Recommend security solutions, assess regulatory compliance trends, and support system implementation and growth planning.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, REVIT and AutoCAD, security technologies (access control, surveillance, intrusion detection), data analysis, strong communication and facilitation abilities, and capability to build cross-functional relationships and handle confidential information.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or equivalent; 5+ years of security experience preferably in law enforcement or security; CPP or PSP certifications required; REVIT and AutoCAD knowledge; and construction process lifecycle understanding.

Description

Summary: The Risk Assessor will provide consultative services to Navigate360 customers by providing extensive physical and technological assessments in the areas of threat, vulnerability, and risk. ATI customers include but are not limited to: Law Enforcement; K-12 schools; Universities; Healthcare; Businesses and Houses of Worship.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for performing customer needs analysis and evaluating Navigate360’s services in support of the needs of our customers regarding Risk Assessment
  • Accountable for the development of effective risk assessment reporting for our customers
  • Assess client security programs and strategies to determine overall program effectiveness
  • Research and implement complex information and decision-making systems that encompass diverse technologies including unified management software, access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, streaming video, data, voice, wireless, sensors, door hardware, etc.
  • Recommend and present technologies into various new and existing sites and facilities, and the implementation of plans for systems growth, operations, and personnel requirements
  • Understand and assess trends for regulatory and compliance requirements that may impact current or future business opportunities
  • Identify new, non-traditional, and compelling security solutions to customer’s stated project scopes that differentiate Navigate360
  • Will be cross trained in ALICE Training classroom delivery and be available to conduct classroom instruction using a variety of instructional techniques, including but not limited to lectures, PowerPoint Presentations, videos, simulations, team exercises and group discussions.
  • Other similar and/or related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Security Administration, Criminal Justice or equivalent
  • 5+ years of security experience, preferably in a security or law enforcement capacity
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) designations required
  • REVIT and AutoCAD knowledge and proficiency of the construction process lifecycle including, but not limited to bid packages, specifications, addendum, and bulletins
  • Demonstrated ability to establish self as a business partner with internal customers to develop and influence Safety and Security initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships and to gain cross-functional alignment for execution
  • Ability to foster and develop a cooperative work environment

Normal Working Hours and Conditions: Core business hours are generally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. However, this position will require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on Company operations. 

Physical Requirements: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in outdoor settings and adverse weather, as well as in an office setting. This is including verbally communicating, seeing, and hearing to exchange information and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. Daily physical functions include standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time and occasionally stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting. The employee may engage in lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 pounds. The position also requires the operation of office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement.
