Who We’re Looking for
As our first-ever Director of Solutions Engineering, you’ll lead our team of Solutions Engineers and play a key leadership role in scaling the processes that will enable our Solutions Engineers to be most effective in supporting the sales process. You have a proven track record of supporting the sales cycle through subject matter expertise, technical enablement, and leadership.

This role will include:
Leadership & Management
Leading, mentoring, and managing the Solutions Engineer team, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, and customer success objectives.
Developing technical sales playbooks, demos, and proof-of-concept strategies.
Partnering with the product education team to create impactful technical content, including case studies, whitepapers, and demo videos.
Ensuring Solutions Engineers are enabled with the latest product positioning, messaging, and use cases.
Defining and tracking KPIs for the Solutions Engineer team, reporting on performance, pipeline impact, and customer engagement metrics.
Enablement Strategy Development
Designing and implementing enablement programs that equip the Solutions Engineer team to effectively support sales and marketing efforts.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing) to ensure Solutions Engineers are well-versed in product updates, industry trends, and customer needs.
Providing strategic guidance on how to best position ParentSquare’s solutions in competitive and complex sales environments.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales enablement, or technical enablement roles, preferably in EdTech.
3+ years of experience managing or leading teams, with a proven track record of developing and mentoring talent.
Strong understanding of sales processes, with the ability to align technical enablement efforts to support revenue goals.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on metrics-driven decision-making.

The salary range for this role will be $130,000 to $160,000 DOE.
