Summary
Senior Frontend Developer at Coursera responsible for designing and implementing scalable web applications that enhance the learner experience on one of the world's largest online learning platforms. The role focuses on utilizing AI tools, improving accessibility and performance, and collaborating across teams to shape the future of global education.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, robust frontend applications with clean and consistent UI/UX across the learner journey. Utilize AI-powered coding and design tools, measure work through A/B testing, collaborate with stakeholders, and improve legacy systems.
Skills & Tools: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React with expertise in web accessibility, performance optimization, and design systems. Preferred skills include curiosity for AI-assisted development, experience with large frontend codebases, and collaborative mindset.
Qualifications: Experience with large-scale frontend development and demonstrated ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional environments. Preferred background includes familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and work on complex legacy system improvements.
