The Opportunity
As Transcend's MarComms Project Manager, you'll have the exciting opportunity to project manage and coordinate the operations forTranscend’s MarComms work, supporting deeper integration within our work with school partners and more efficient, data-driven, and responsive storytelling. To do this, you’ll be charged with coordinating, project managing, and executing Transcend’s marketing communication efforts across a variety of channels (newsletters, website, social media, branding, media relations, conferences, and video) and doing so in deep collaboration with teammates and teams across the organization.
Reporting to Divya Mani, Managing Director, External Affairs, you’ll work closely with our Digital Marketing Manager, Abby Callard, and our Communications Manager, Ana Vargas. Together, the team will work to capture, organize, and amplify the inspiring stories and insights from our work, both within Transcend and with external partners.
As the MarComms Project Manager, you will steward the following projects:
Project Management and Coordination (40%):
- Lead project and content management for key campaigns and projects, including coordinating with internal teams and external partners to source, review, and approve content.
- Support media relations, media tracking, and Comms-to-Comms efforts
- Own internal requests for MarComms support and ensure requests get routed to the correct marketing and communications team member.
- Lead knowledge management for the MarComms team using Google Drive and Notion.
Community and Email Management (40%):
- Manage engagement with our Transcend Community via LinkedIn, email newsletters, and jobs board
- Project manage production cycles for ~10 targeted newsletters each month (e.g. establish all monthly production schedules and curate content menu including resources/opportunities from external partners).
- Project manage internal project communication with related team members including lead writers, editorial reviewers, and copy editors to ensure deliverable deadlines are met and the production process stays on track.
- Coordinate the publication of newsletters and e-blasts including final copy proofing, building individual campaigns in Mailchimp, conducting email tests, and successful publication delivery.
Analytics (10%):
- Gather and help analyze data for monthly digital marketing reports and ongoing monitoring/tracking of specific marketing and communications campaigns
- Track and monitor key engagement metrics and trends for newsletters and LinkedIn
