The Sales Director is responsible for leading and inspiring a team of both Enterprise and Mid-Market Account Executives to achieve revenue growth. They support the team to generate new opportunities, build long-term relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams through strategic planning, coaching, and training. This role requires 30% travel to on-site meetings, conferences, and Company off-site gatherings.
As a Sales Director, you will be individually accountable to:
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to meet and exceed targets.
- Work with the team to develop a robust sales pipeline, manage the lead generation process, and ensure that opportunities are tracked and managed effectively.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members to build a high-performing team.
- Proactively manage underperformance, identifying the cause of the problem and engaging POPs early.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the assigned region. Be a thought leader and an advocate for your region within Go1, but always be a team player.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies to capitalize on market trends, customer needs and beating the competition every time!
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, Partner ADs and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities for success.
- Prepare and present regular reports to the Executive Management Team on sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.

We are excited about you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales leadership roles within the SaaS industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and coach a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Demonstrated prospecting experience: new logo and install base revenue.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of the regional market landscape, including market trends, competitive dynamics, partners and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Forecast accuracy with a track record of always being within 5% of your forecast.
