Job Description

About the role In this role you'll help drive product strategy for Financial Edge NXT, our nonprofit fund accounting platform. Our customers depend on compliance, audit trails, and doing more with fewer people, which is exactly why

AI matters here: every hour we save a nonprofit finance team on reconciliation is an hour back toward mission work. This isn't a "keep the backlog full" role. We're actively building anomaly detection assistants for AP fraud and restricted fund compliance, expanding AI-powered health scoring across the product, and shipping virtual agents to build a back-office team inside Financial Edge NXT. You'll be leading the conversation for how these are designed, prioritized, scoped, and sold. What you'll do Own product requirements and roadmap decisions for Financial Edge NXT’s features across fund accounting workflows, from anomaly detection to reconciliation tools. Translate deep nonprofit accounting domain knowledge into product decisions that hold up against how these organizations operate day to day Partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market to move features from concept to general availability, and stay in the loop through adoption and iteration Build the business case, requirements, and go-to-market strategies for new capabilities to sell internally and externally. Collaborate with and represent the product in front of customers and prospects, including sales enablement and competitive positioning. Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality and actively experiment with emerging capabilities as they evolve. What you'll bring 5+ years of product management experience shipping software from concept to launch, ideally in financial platforms or vertical SaaS A default to AI-first development practices Strong understanding of financial workflows and ability to have credible conversations with financial users and leaders Experience scoping and shipping AI or agentic-powered features, including the tradeoffs around trust, accuracy, and explainability that matter especially in finance Comfort owning both the strategic narrative (why this matters, where it's going) and the tactical (user stories, backlog, sprint reviews) Strong written communication. You'll be writing docs that go to engineering, sales, and leadership, and they all need to land differently.
