Role Snapshot
HMH seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on company assets at their Geneva, IL facility, ensuring efficient and safe operation of equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on forklifts, conveyor systems, fire protection systems, plumbing, electrical installations, and facility grounds. Perform scheduled maintenance documentation and respond to maintenance emergencies while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Skills & Tools: Working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, fire protection systems, HVAC, and forklift mechanics; ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints; proficiency in basic welding and equipment operation.
Qualifications: High School/GED required; 1-2 years of experience in related industrial maintenance preferred. Technical certification or associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
Location: Geneva, Illinois
Compensation: $39K–$45K/yr
