We are seeking a Senior Contract Business Support Specialist to help us fulfill that mission. This individual will provide technical and process assistance to the Contract Services team including contract management platform and process support, template configuration, and general support for the Contract Services team.
The finalist will be hired at the salary and level commensurate with their qualifications. For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly pay rate of up to $27 per hour , depending on the level. ACT manages pay rates within the range based on relevant factors including, skills, experience, and internal equity. This position is not incentive eligible.
Location: This is a remote position (can also be onsite or hybrid if in Iowa City, Iowa area)
A Day in the Life:
- Manage and resolve Salesforce case queues.
- Upload and configure contract templates for use with applications such as Conga and DocuSign.
- Process standard contract requests and generate agreements using templates.
- Prepare standard representations, certifications, and certificates of insurance for customer contracts and proposals.
- Manage the Contract Services email inbox, and DocuSign and SharePoint activity.
- Assist the Contract Services team with configuration, management and maintenance of various systems and platforms.
Role Progression:
- 4 Months:
- Proficiency in ACT’s primary contract management processes within Salesforce, including contract intake and processing of standard contract requests.
- Comfort and familiarity with the DocuSign platform, processes, and stakeholders.
- 8 Months:
- Capability to build, activate, and manage contract templates within Conga Composer Salesforce app.
- Assist ACT team members with matters related to the contract request and review process.
- 12 Months:
- Provide support to the Contract Services department in the configuration, management, and maintenance of contract management systems and platforms
About You:
- At least 5 years of business support, administrative, or similar experience
- Experience working with office productivity software and contract management tools, such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Adobe Professional.
- Clear communication, business writing, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with ability to read and comprehend complex language.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Skills and knowledge required for success in this position attained through experience and education (High School Diploma or GED), or a combination of both
Preferred Qualifications:
- Contract management experience.
- Experience with account creation and maintenance; preparing, tracking, maintaining documentation or documents such as contracts, proposals, agreements, requirements and/or legal documents.
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in business, communications, English or related area of study.
