Role Snapshot

Classroom Installer for Lakeshore Learning Materials is a physical, hands-on role responsible for setting up educational classroom spaces across multiple locations. Team members execute complete installation projects from unloading and assembly through final setup and cleanup.

Key Responsibilities: Unload delivery trucks, assemble classroom furniture, lift and carry heavy boxes, set up classrooms according to specifications, and clean up debris post-installation. Work primarily during weekday daytime hours with occasional weekend availability as needed.

Skills & Tools: Physical capability to lift heavy items regularly, attention to detail in assembly and setup, teamwork and communication with installation crew members, and ability to follow instructions and complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no prior installation experience required as training is provided. Must be physically capable of performing manual labor and able to commit to weekday daytime availability.

Location: In-Person - Madison, WI

Compensation: $32K–$42K/yr (estimated)

Job Description

We are looking for hardworking folks to become a part of our classroom installation teams nationwide. Our local teams are trained to provide unbeatable service from the moment they arrive, taking care of every detail from start to finish! This position primarily requires availability during weekday daytime hours. Occasional weekend shifts may be required based on business needs. During classroom installations, you will:

Unload trucks
Assemble furniture
Lift and carry heavy boxes
Set up classrooms
Clean up debris
