Team & Position Description:
We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Pet marketing team! This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a close-knit, agile and fun team where you can pursue exciting and disruptive opportunities to help drive brand growth. What you’ll do day to day:
- Expand the reach and visibility of the brand by conceptualizing, creating, and producing engaging content for various social media channels, ensuring it resonates with the target audience and outlined strategy.
- Maintain high-quality content and a consistent posting schedule to keep people engaged and reach broader audiences.
- Develop a strong working relationship with social media content creators. This involves providing guidance, feedback and assets to ensure that the team produces high-quality content that aligns with the brand’s vision and goals.
- Successfully plan and execute social media campaigns that further brand strategy. This includes collaborating with marketing team to create social assets that support brand and digital campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach.
- Oversee the end-to-end video production process, from ideation to post-production, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Maintain high-quality standards for all video content, including editing, graphics, sound, and overall production values.
- Analyze data and insights to optimize content for maximum reach, engagement, and conversion across social media platforms.
- Develop and maintain content calendars for various marketing channels inclusive of social media, e-mail marketing, website, and retailer activity
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and creative approaches to social content production.
- Manage social media budgets, equipment, and external vendors as needed.
- Support PR program by participating in weekly agency calls and tasks, attending industry events and demonstrating products for press and media.
- Support the development and execution of marketing communications including seasonal marketing campaigns, quarterly newsletters and website communications.
- Ensure all social content complies with relevant copyright and legal guidelines, including music licensing and talent releases.

What we’re looking for (Key Performance Objectives):
- Increase social media following and engagement rates across platforms by 10% in the first year
- Consistently post high-quality, creative content across platforms at least 3 times a week to maintain engagement and grow brand awareness
- Maintain current influencer relationships and source 5 new collaborators that align with brand strategy and growth goals in the first 6 months
- Plan 4 social media campaigns within the first 6 months
- Analyze data and insights to optimize content for maximum reach on a monthly basis
- Bring 3 fresh ideas for content to the team weekly by staying on top of trends in social media within the pet industry
Requirements/Ideal Attributes:
- 1+ years of experience in video production for a consumer-facing brand on social media
- Experience shooting and creating compelling and effective content across digital platforms
- Proven ability to craft stories that capture attention and drive engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Similar Field
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media management tools
- Excellent communication skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
