We seek a skilled Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) Techno-Functional Analyst to support the migration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Oracle’s SFP product. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and functional understanding of SFP and be able to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions to ensure successful project delivery and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle SFP Configuration and Analysis:
As the SME of SFP, lead the migration of legacy financial aid systems to Oracle’s SFP platform, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
Configure Oracle SFP workflows, rules, and processes to meet organizational and compliance requirements.
Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the SFP system.
System Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide day-to-day support for Oracle SFP, addressing issues, resolving errors, and implementing minor enhancements.
Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions to optimize functionality.
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve system defects.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute test cases for system upgrades, configurations, and integrations.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing to validate system changes.
Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes and results.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to understand system requirements and deliver solutions.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Gather feedback from stakeholders to identify areas for system improvement.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure Oracle SFP complies with all relevant federal, state, and institutional regulations.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and system configuration guides.
Training and Support:
Support end-users by providing training and addressing questions regarding system functionality.
Develop training materials, including guides and videos, to facilitate user adoption.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in financial aid systems, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle SFP.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and configure Oracle SFP workflows and processes.
- Familiarity with higher education financial aid operations and regulations.
- Skills:
- Proficient in Oracle SFP configuration and support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with testing tools and methodologies for system validation.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in higher education technology environments.
- Hands-on involvement with other Oracle Higher Education Cloud products.
