Role Snapshot
Leepfrog Technologies seeks a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience to develop high-quality code for CourseLeaf, an education technology platform serving over 500 colleges and universities. The role involves delivering production code, driving project success, and fostering team growth within an organization of 150+ professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Develop high-quality, error-free code within specifications, build and prioritize tasks to meet project goals, and actively participate in code reviews and documentation. Address client needs effectively, communicate statuses and issues, participate in team events like stand-ups and sprints, and provide guidance to team members.
Skills & Tools: Required skills include backend or full stack coding experience, knowledge of software development lifecycle including design patterns and testing, strong organizational and communication abilities, and adaptability to anticipate and respond to changes. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical staff and take leadership when appropriate.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of professional coding experience in backend or full stack environments with proven responsibility for delivering software solutions is required. Formal education from a coding bootcamp or degree program is preferred but not required.
Location: Coralville, Iowa
Compensation: $80K–$120K/yr
