Role Snapshot
Join Vernier Science Education as a Systems/Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage on-premise infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Linux-based administration supporting innovative STEM education tools.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain network and systems infrastructure including DNS, DHCP, routing, WLAN, firewalls, virtual machines, storage arrays, and security appliances. Manage Linux and Windows systems while providing IT technical expertise in hardware, hosting resources, and networking to support business operations.
Skills & Tools: Proven expertise in Linux system administration, virtualization technologies (VMware), LAN/WLAN configuration, firewalls, and networking infrastructure. Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years of related IT infrastructure experience required. Certifications in networking preferred.
Location: Beaverton, Oregon
Compensation: $85K–$120K/yr
