Role Snapshot
Cloud Architect at Ascend Learning responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive cloud strategies, managing cloud migrations, and optimizing AWS and Azure environments. This role drives technical execution and innovation across the organization's cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy cloud architecture, manage migration projects, establish controls and automation, oversee DevOps implementation, and ensure continuous optimization and cost management. Partner with development, infrastructure, and security teams to develop strategic roadmaps and maintain cloud processes based on industry best practices.
Skills & Tools: Extensive experience with Azure and AWS, cloud engineering, project management, DevOps practices, containerization, microservices, and networking technologies. Strong knowledge of cloud cost optimization and ability to architect scalable solutions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field with 8+ years of technical experience in Cloud Architecture. Proven track record managing multi-cloud environments and cloud cost management.
Location: Gilbert, Arizona
Compensation: $130K–$180K/yr
