Skills & Tools: 5+ years of database engineering experience with hands-on management of MySQL (PlanetScale preferred), Cloud Spanner, or BigQuery; proficiency in Go or Python for automation; familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and caching systems like Redis or Memcached; strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration abilities.
Qualifications: 5+ years in database engineering or platform infrastructure with demonstrated expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and high-availability design. Production experience with at least one of the following databases: MySQL, Cloud Spanner, or BigQuery.
