Role Snapshot
A summer internship at Sourcebooks' Stonefruit Studio where interns gain hands-on experience across editorial, design, and marketing/publicity roles in children's book publishing. Contribute meaningfully to real projects while working alongside publishing professionals in a fast-growing, innovative publishing house.
Key Responsibilities: Support editorial duties including reading submissions, writing reader's reports, and providing feedback on projects; assist with design tasks like creating sales materials and layouts; contribute to marketing and publicity efforts including social media, pitch writing, and campaign brainstorming.
Skills & Tools: Strong writing abilities, research skills, creativity, and passion for books and publishing are essential. Ability to collaborate with team members, curiosity about the publishing industry, and proficiency in digital/social media tasks are valuable.
Qualifications: Current college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent graduates are ideal candidates. A cover letter explaining your interest in publishing and Sourcebooks specifically is required.
