The Role:

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our team. You will be a core part of a small but impactful Design organization that develops new features for our mobile application. This role has an outsized impact on our user experience and the product’s evolution. Responsibilities will range from proposing groundbreaking ideas to refining the smallest interaction details. Your work will directly impact how millions of young people plan their day and interact with their friends and community!

What You’ll Do:

  • Conceptualize, design, and prototype innovative new features, building alignment with stakeholders and leadership
  • Own the user experience for features end-end
  • Understand user needs and continuously improve upon existing features in concert with PM, DS and UXR
  • Assist with all parts of the design process from initial research and brainstorming to visual design to Eng hand off to polish and delivery

  • Ability to prototype interactive mobile experiences 
  • Ability to think about high level product strategy connecting strategy to design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS / BA degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 4+ years of relevant mobile Product Design experience
  • A strong portfolio with past examples of mobile and consumer tech products 
  • Expert proficiency in Figma
  • Not required, but highly valuable bonus skills: motion design, illustration

This role offers a competitive compensation package with an estimated annual salary range of $175,000 to $200,000, exclusive of bonuses, commissions, and equity.  Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all of our initial calls. We are committed to considering individual factors and welcoming direct conversations about compensation. 

Saturn embraces both a hybrid and fully remote work environment. Those team members who live locally come together to collaborate in the New York City office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
