Summary

Senior Manager, Platform Development at Stride leads technology direction and product delivery in a fully remote role, partnering with product management and stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Partner with technical product management to drive technology direction and key technical decisions; interface with engineering groups and enterprise architecture; lead integration projects, roadmap commitments, and new technology evaluation and introduction.
Skills & Tools: 5+ years in software engineering leadership with Agile/CI/CD/DevOps expertise; proficiency in Java, Angular, and AWS; expertise in large-scale application architecture, middleware, integration architecture, and automation; proven track record in complete software development lifecycle delivery.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field; 5+ years in software engineering lead role with demonstrated delivery execution and Agile team leadership; 3+ years in large-scale application/integration architecture; 2+ years AWS experience.
Location: United States (100% Remote)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $150,000 – $190,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Stride, Inc., has an opening for a Senior Manager, Platform Development (Fully Remote). Job duties include: Partnering with technical product management and other key stakeholders to lead the technology direction, facilitate key technical decision points, and deliver products. Interfacing with other engineering groups and enterprise architecture. Collaborating on integration projects, best practices and the introduction of new technologies. Committing to roadmaps with capabilities and timelines with a proven track record for new product and technology evaluation and introduction. And Aligning technology to business strategy, and proactively driving a technical direction throughout the organization. 100% Remote position.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. And 5 years of experience in a Software Engineering Lead Role or any occupation in which experience was gained.

Experience must include:

  • 5 years of engineering delivery and execution track record, including with complete lifecycle of software development;
  • 5 years of experience leading Agile software development teams;
  • 5 years of experience in software development and overall automation including Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, build and test automation;
  • 5 years of experience with Java;
  • 3 years of experience in large-scale application architecture/design, middleware architecture, integration architecture, application deployment methods, automation, testing, compliance;
  • 3 years of experience with Angular; and
  • 2 years of experience with AWS. Stride will accept any equivalent combination of education and experience.
