Role Snapshot
The Director of Finance leads financial strategy and ensures GAAP compliance while supporting Reading Horizons' mission to eradicate illiteracy. This role reports to the President and provides strategic financial leadership to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities: Direct accounting operations, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate financial reporting. Supervise the Administrative Finance Specialist, manage external auditor relationships, and provide financial insights to guide strategic decision-making across the organization.
Skills & Tools: Deep expertise in GAAP, financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting with proficiency in NetSuite, Salesforce, and Bill.com. Strong analytical, communication, and process improvement capabilities with ability to translate complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with Master's degree and CPA license preferred. Experience in high-growth organizations, EdTech, or similar fast-paced environments is preferred.
Location: Kaysville, Utah
Compensation: $135K–$155K/yr
