Role Snapshot
The Chief Financial Officer will lead financial strategy, ensure fiscal discipline, and drive operational efficiency at Finalsite, a community platform serving 7,000+ K-12 schools worldwide. This fully remote role reports to the CEO and Board, providing strategic financial leadership across all accounting, planning, treasury, and compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead financial strategy aligned with company growth objectives, oversee FP&A, budgeting, and financial modeling, ensure regulatory and tax compliance, implement financial systems and controls, and provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making. Partner cross-functionally on revenue alignment, manage capital structure and cash flow, build high-performing finance teams, and support M&A activities.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency with ERP, BI, and financial automation tools, strong FP&A, treasury, investor relations, and compliance expertise, and experience managing global, multi-currency operations. Excellent strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
Qualifications: MBA or CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with at least 3 years in a senior executive role. Proven track record in SaaS or technology-driven businesses with transaction experience (M&A, fundraising, IPO, or exits) and private equity background preferred.

Compensation: $150K–$250K/yr
