Role Snapshot
The University of Georgia Libraries seeks a GIL/GALILEO Systems Librarian to serve as the subject matter expert for library services across the state, supporting library staff with system issues and enhancements related to the integrated library management system.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with GIL staff to identify and investigate system issues and enhancements, serve as liaison between GIL staff and member libraries across the state, and participate in statewide development tasks related to ILS systems.
Skills & Tools: Experience with ILS systems and library management software (specifically Ex Libris), strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively with various levels of library staff across multiple institutions.
Qualifications: Position is faculty librarian level; preferred qualifications are not strictly required, and applicants are encouraged to demonstrate relevant skills and experience related to library systems and workflows.
Location: In-Person - Athens, GA
Compensation: From $65K/yr
