Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $35,000 - $45,000.

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with state and federal health and safety standards.

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across assigned centers to ensure safe, operational facilities.
Respond to work orders promptly, resolving issues efficiently to minimize disruption to learning.
Assist with setup, cleaning, and preparation of classrooms and shared spaces as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, licensing standards, and Head Start Performance Standards.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in general building maintenance and repair.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive to facility needs.
Knowledgeable of safety, health, and building codes.
Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Flexible and collaborative, with a commitment to supporting children and families.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or HSED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building maintenance, facilities, or related field preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks safely.
Pass a physical exam and background check.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
