Role Snapshot
The Project Coordinator provides crucial administrative support to the Exploratorium's Teaching & Learning Department, facilitating transformative science education experiences for educators and leaders. This role is essential for coordinating projects, events, and logistics that impact science teaching and learning locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate project timelines, logistics, supplies, and catering for workshops and events while managing team workflow and schedules. Process invoices, reimbursements, and budget tracking; maintain the Salesforce database; and serve as the primary communication point for participants, stakeholders, and alumni.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational and time management abilities with exceptional attention to detail; excellent interpersonal and problem-solving communication skills. Proficiency with Google Workspace and database management, with experience in budgeting, expenses, and basic accounting.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three years of administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in project and event coordination within non-profit, institutional, or educational settings.
Location: San Francisco, California
Compensation: $41β$43/hr
