Role Snapshot
Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function at Reading Partners, a national nonprofit focused on literacy education, providing strategic financial guidance and support to optimize resource allocation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, prepare financial reports and models, oversee financial operations, and provide financial insights to support strategic planning. Manage a team of two and serve as liaison between national and regional leadership to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Skills & Tools: Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software; excellent communication skills to translate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders; experience in FP&A and people management.
Qualifications: 10+ years of FP&A experience with 3+ years in management and a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or advanced degree preferred, and nonprofit experience is a plus.
Location: New York, New York
Compensation: $136K–$160K/yr
