Role Snapshot

As a Software Engineer - Site Reliability at Imagine Learning, you will ensure systems remain reliable, scalable, and high-performing by building automation tooling, tracking SLOs/SLIs, and collaborating with engineering teams to strengthen infrastructure resilience.

Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response tooling; track SLOs/SLIs and reduce operational toil; participate in incident response and post-mortems; strengthen cloud infrastructure for scalability; improve observability and system performance.
Skills & Tools: Strong coding skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar languages; expertise in cloud platforms and Kubernetes; experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code; proficiency in reliability engineering, automation, troubleshooting, and collaboration.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or backend engineering. Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code required.
Location: Hybrid - Hybrid Remote, India
Compensation: ₹1.2M–₹1.8M/yr (estimated)

As a Software Engineer - Site Reliability, you will play a critical role in ensuring our systems remain reliable, scalable, and high-performing. You will work closely with engineering teams to improve observability, reduce incidents, and strengthen infrastructure resilience across our platform.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

Share Your Expertise.

  • Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role include:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years experience in SRE, DevOps, or backend engineering
  • Strong coding skills (Python, Java, C#, or similar)
  • Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code

Reporting to: Site Reliability Engineering Manager

Work Model: Hybrid in Bangalore

Compensation 

 

Compensation for this role is competitive and aligned with local market benchmarks in India. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
