Role Snapshot
Leepfrog Technologies seeks a skilled C++ Developer to design, code, test, and implement high-quality software solutions for their educational software systems. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the CourseLeaf platform used by over 500 colleges and universities.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop software applications using C++ and JavaScript, maintain and fix existing code bases, identify system performance anomalies, and prepare technical documentation. Collaborate with other departments on project status and technical issues while ensuring code quality and meeting project deadlines.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in C++, JavaScript, SQL, and familiarity with software development practices including version control systems (GIT, CVS, ClearCase). Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of object-oriented programming and software architecture principles are essential.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 5 years of professional C++ development experience. Comprehensive knowledge of relational database management systems, client-server frameworks, and software testing tools.
Location: Coralville, Iowa
Compensation: $80K–$120K/yr
