Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of UX design experience and foundational skills in HTML5 and CSS. Ability to work collaboratively with product owners and users to understand requirements and design complete user experiences is essential.

SUMMARY

This role is part of the team that owns the design of all Relias products. Its goal is to meet the capabilities of the product as defined by the business and ensure a useful, usable, and enjoyable experience for our users.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Translate concepts into user flows and wireframes, design mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces (60%).

· Contribute to product strategy by prototyping concepts for new products and initiatives (30%).

· Refine processes to improve the user experience continuously (10%).

· Other duties as assigned.

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES

· Ability to work with product owners and users to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision. · Demonstrated experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions.

· Confident understanding and the ability to advocate for UX best practices, emphasizing accessibility and inclusion.

· Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.

· Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.

· Empathy and aptitude for learning our diverse clients’ businesses and day-to-day experiences to better deliver intuitive, engaging, and effective product designs.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (MINIMUM REQUIRED)

· 2+ years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

· Experience with standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UX Pin, Balsamiq, or Frame.

EDUCATION REQUIRED (MINIMUM REQUIRED)

· Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED

· Experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

· Foundational HTML5 and CSS skills
