Manager, Data Science at Relias leads a team of data scientists in developing machine learning models that drive strategic business objectives within the healthcare sector. This role combines technical leadership with mentorship to foster a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, oversee project execution and prioritization, provide technical guidance in machine learning and MLOps, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders. Foster a high-performance work environment and align data science projects with strategic business objectives.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in Python and machine learning frameworks, strong team leadership and mentorship abilities, and excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Deep knowledge of applied machine learning, MLOps, and the ability to align technical work with business strategy.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in data science roles with 3+ years in leadership positions required. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
Location: Morrisville, North Carolina
Compensation: $120K–$160K/yr
