Role Snapshot
CDW is seeking a VMware Subject Matter Expert (SME) with active DoD Secret clearance to provide technical expertise in VCF infrastructure design, implementation, and management within a collaborative systems engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform systems engineering tasks including VCF and infrastructure recommendations, virtualization cluster administration, microservices management, and vendor liaison support. Implement VCF environment updates, assist with automation development, provide performance monitoring and tuning, and deliver VMware training to end clients.
Skills & Tools: Required skills include significant experience with VCF infrastructure, virtualization management, technical documentation, Agile methodologies, risk management practices, and VMware Professional Services toolkits. Strong systems engineering, problem-solving, and communication abilities are essential.
Qualifications: Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance and an active Security+ certification or equivalent IAT level certifications. Significant hands-on experience with VCF infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and enterprise IT systems is required.

Compensation: $130K–$160K/yr
