Role Snapshot
Join Reading Partners as a Gift Processing Associate to support the organization's mission to enhance literacy by managing donor contributions and maintaining accurate donation records in Salesforce. This role provides critical administrative support that enables the nonprofit to focus on its core tutoring programs.
Key Responsibilities: Process monetary and in-kind donations by performing timely data entry in Salesforce, generating donor tax receipts, and submitting donation information to the Accounting department within 2 business days. Provide customer service to stakeholders and donors, audit gift entries for accuracy and compliance, and collaborate with regional staff and the Development Operations Director on process improvements.
Skills & Tools: Strong attention to detail, proficiency with Salesforce or similar database management systems, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain organized electronic files, and work independently in a remote environment is essential.
Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in development operations, nonprofit work, or related administrative roles is preferred. Commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and supporting the organization's literacy mission is valued.

Compensation: $28β$33/hr
