Summary

Lead business intelligence initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making across Ignite Reading by designing and delivering analytical solutions. Manage a BI analyst team while partnering with stakeholders to identify insights that support strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities: Lead development and optimization of BI reporting solutions using Tableau, manage and mentor a team of BI analysts, and own the BI roadmap aligned with business priorities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design dashboards and reports, ensure data integrity, and train business users on BI tools.
Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency with Tableau for visualization and reporting, strong SQL skills for data querying and preparation, and exceptional communication and storytelling abilities to translate complex data into clear insights. Project management, organizational skills, and familiarity with data modeling tools such as DBT are also valued.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of business intelligence, data analysis, or data visualization experience. 2+ years of experience managing or leading a BI or analytics team required; Tableau certification is a plus.

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager who will lead our BI initiatives, driving data-driven decision-making across the company. In this role, you’ll design and deliver analytical solutions, manage a team of BI analysts, and work closely with stakeholders to identify insights that power our strategic goals. Proficiency in Tableau for visualization and reporting is essential to ensure the clarity and effectiveness of our analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of BI reporting solutions using Tableau.
  • Manage a team of BI analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop, design, and own the BI roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and scalability needs.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by developing and maintaining quality control processes.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for data-driven improvements and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights that align with business objectives.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends.
  • Train business users on Tableau dashboards and BI tools, enhancing data literacy across the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data visualization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or data visualization.
  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading a BI or analytics team.
  • Advanced proficiency with Tableau (certification is a plus).
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and preparing data.
  • Experience working with data modeling tools (e.g., DBT) is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
