Role Snapshot
Join ELB Learning as a Code Auditor and Developer to conduct a comprehensive audit of an existing training platform's JavaScript codebase and provide strategic recommendations for quality, scalability, and security improvements. Your expertise will directly influence future development strategies and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct a full audit of ReactJS front-end and Node/Express back-end code, assess code quality and adherence to best practices, identify performance and security issues, and prepare a detailed audit report with recommendations and improvement timelines. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify technical details and optionally implement light fixes based on audit findings.
Skills & Tools: Strong proficiency in ReactJS, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and AWS S3 with expertise in code quality, security, and performance optimization. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proven ability to audit large-scale JavaScript applications and understand SPA architecture and RESTful APIs.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer or Code Auditor with deep JavaScript expertise and proven experience optimizing large-scale applications. Solid understanding of SPA architecture, cloud-based storage systems, and preferably CI/CD pipelines and code security practices.
Location: United States
Compensation: $75–$150/hr
