Role Snapshot

Senior Software Engineer at Carnegie Learning developing innovative educational software and generative AI systems for middle school mathematics instruction. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to prototype and implement solutions that improve student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with learning engineers, researchers, and education professionals to prototype and deploy educational software solutions and AI systems. Research generative AI advancements, build prototypes, present demos to teams, and troubleshoot software and AI model implementation issues.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript and front-end programming (Angular or React preferred), experience with APIs and generative AI models, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to work with diverse teams on large codebases.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (or equivalent experience) with 2-3 years of production-level programming experience. Experience utilizing APIs, contributing to large codebases, and strong software design skills required.
Location: Pennsylvania
Compensation: $110K–$125K/yr
